HARRY HERMANN July 29, 1930 - July 23, 2007 It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that the family of Harry Hermann announces the passing of their husband, father and grandfather of 76 years on July 23, 2007. Left to mourn and lovingly remembered by his wife Helen of 48 years; son Harold (Regan), daughter Deborah (Scott), son Ron (Ruth); grandchildren Kari, Ashley, Raeanne, Ryan, Christine and Nicole; brother Herbert, brother-in-law Otto, sister-in-laws Anna and Kay, nephews and their family; and, many friends. Harry was born in Poland in 1930 and immigrated to Canada in 1950, where shortly thereafter he established Hermann Bros. Electric Ltd. Harry was very knowledgeable and respected in the building trades - always ready and willing to tackle a challenge or a project. He was a longtime member of the German Canadian Society and German Business Association in Winnipeg, as well as a member of Elmhurst Golf Country Club where he enjoyed golfing with friends and family for over 25 years. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church on 350 Gilmore, with a luncheon and private interment for the family to follow. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Kristjansen and the resident doctors of Kildonan Medical, the staff of the 5th floor, Unit 1 at Seven Oaks Hospital, and the various home and palliative care workers which helped Harry along the way. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Harry to the Canadian Liver Foundation Manitoba. Arrangements Entrusted To: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111
