GLADYS (KAY) RAMSAY On Thursday, July 26, 2007 Kay passed away at her residence at the age of 87 years. Remaining to forever cherish Kay's memory are her three children, Tom Colin , Susan and Kathy; grandchildren, Thomas, Sean, Melissa, Kathy, Joleen and Jessica; eight great-grandchildren, Devon, Kelly, Rhean, Aidan, Axel, Ebony, Zoe and Keiran; sister Lynn of Victoria; brother Geoffrey; sister-in-law Marina of England; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her husband Tom; and her brother Bobby. Born on December 12, 1919 in Liverpool, England, Mum made a home for us in Winnipeg. Everyone knew her as Nana Kay. The whole population of Radisson, Saskatchewan, where she spent many summers, called her Nana . Mum was, and still is, well-loved. She had many close friends, most of whom have departed this life. Mum was a school secretary at Miles MacDonell High School in Winnipeg for many years, and for 9 years was a secretary at 1010 Sinclair. In latter years, she had some medical problems, which she bore with great courage. Always fiercely independent, she lived on her own, refusing several offers from family and friends to take her in and care for her. She struggled with her various problems and the Eternal God relieved her of pain and distress. Mum now is glorious, o'er a' the ills o' life, victorious! The reality of your life can never die; you are indestructible consciousness. We love you as you dearly loved us. Thank you for being such a great Mum, Grandmother, Aunty, neighbour, and friend. In keeping with Mum's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Special thanks to Milka and Branislaw for all their love and care; to Ken MacKenzie for his constant attention and love; and to Del for her love and attention. In lieu of flowers, because of Mum's tremendous love of children, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Children's Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg (945-9474). God bless you, MUM! Enjoy the Peace that surpasses all human understanding. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM FAMILY OWNED OPERATED 897 4665
