Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEROY GEORGE LOUIS PREVOST It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, Roy Prevost, on Thursday, August 9, peacefully at home. He was predeceased by Mary, his wife of 51 years, his sister Iona Martin and his brother Ray. He is survived by his sister Cordy Thomaschewski (Anton) and his brother Eddy (Bea), as well as three sons, Tim (Lavina), Rick (Angela), and Ron (Lucy), three sisters-in-law, Stella (Victor), Olga, and Domnica, and many grandchildren. Dad lived most of his life in Winnipeg, after spending his early years in St. Anne Des Chenes. Dad worked for many years in the garment industry. Prior to that, he was employed by Co-Op first as a coal and fuel oil driver. He also enjoyed his seasonal employment with Assiniboia Downs. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring father and grandfather. Dad was a king at playing cribbage. Many years ago, he not only fronted his own band as singer and guitar player, but he temporarily played guitar in Ray St. Germain's band. He was an amazing guitar player and singer of country music. Services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Friday, August 17 at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
