DELORIS ILET TILL 1918 - 2007 It is with deep sadness that the family of Deloris (Dolly) Till announces her passing on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at the age of 89. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Sandra (Glenn) Lemoine, grandchildren Kris Till, Michelle and Krista Lemoine, sisters Lorraine (Gord) McClintock, Irma Montgomery, daughter-in-law Darlene Till and children Joe and Tina, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Olga Evans, her husband Charles, her son Chuck, baby sister Merle, sister Loretta, and brother Walton in Italy during the Second World War, brothers-in-law Pete Stevenson and Howard Montgomery. Dolly was born January 27, 1918, in Bowsman, MB. She married Charles in 1940 and moved to Minitonas, MB. They lived in eastern Canada while Charles was in the Armed Forces. In 1967 they purchased the Hillside Hotel in Inwood, and operated it together until they retired in 1974. She loved to curl and bonspiel. She was loyal to the Rebecca Lodge while in Minitonas. In later years she enjoyed bingo and playing cards with friends. A memorial service will be held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Inwood, MB, on August 22, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Claire Speary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Inwood Gethsemane Lutheran Church. The family extends their thanks to all the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their care and friendship.
