JACQUES (JAKE) COULOMBE Peacefully, with his family by his side, Jacques Coulombe passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, September 14, 2007 at the age of 50 years. He was predeceased by his father, Daniel Coulombe in 1979. Left to mourn his passing is his mother, Germaine (née Goulet); his brother, Marc (Kathy); his sister, Jo-Anne (Jacques Bradet); his nephews, Jeremy and Daniel, as well as numerous aunts and cousins. Jacques worked for the Winnipeg Transit System and at the Norwood Hotel vendor. Jake enjoyed his regular coffee visits with his friends at the Jolly Mug . The family wishes to thank his homecare assistants and a special thanks to Arlene and staff at the Health Sciences Centre. In accordance with Jacques wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated at église du Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny Street in St. Boniface on Wednesday, September 19 at 4:00 p.m. Interment of Jacques' cremated remains will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacques' memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Manitoba Division), 200 - 310 Broadway Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 0S6.
