RETIRED DISTRICT CHIEF WINNIPEG FIRE PARAMEDIC SERVICE DALE SARENCHUK 1941 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dale Sarenchuk at the St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday, October 28, 2007, at the age of 65 years. Left to cherish Dale's memory are his wife Marion; son Geoff; daughter Janet (Richard); granddaughters, Sierra, Maxine and Halle; uncles, John and Terry Sarens; extended family, Bernice, Dave and Barb Cullen, Linda, Don, Cullen and Jared Revel; and many close friends. Dale proudly served 38 years in the Winnipeg Fire Department, retiring as District Fire Chief in November 2006. He loved life with Marion and family pets, Riley and Maggie, and enjoyed special times with his children and grandchildren. He was very passionate about his sports and the outdoors. On Friday, November 2 Dale's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, with Chaplain Mark Young of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, presider. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale's memory to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund Inc., 303 - 83 Garry Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4J9.
