KENNETH POST It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth Charles Post at St. Pierre Hospital on November 27, 2007. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Marie-Paule (Bruneau) of 55 years, his children Stan Post (Pauline), Beverly Preteau (Ulysse) and Melvin Post (Majella), grandchildren Jamie (Jaime), Bryan (Christine), Maxine (Jeff), Matthew, Brenden and Kaitlin, and great-grandchildren Matthew, Courtney and Zachary. He was predeceased by his father and mother Fred and Sarah Post, brothers Archie, Walley, Len and twin brother Keith, sisters Delila, Agnes, Elizabeth, Dora, Jessie and Gertrude. Ken was born in Vita, MB, on March 24, 1930, and raised in Roseau River and Greenridge. He moved to Winnipeg in 1947, he met and married Marie-Paule Bruneau on March 15, 1952. Ken worked for the Department of National Defense as an electrician of 33 years, retiring in 1985 and moved from the city to their cottage on the lake at St. Malo. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nursing and homecare staff at the De Salaberry District Health Centre.
