Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY JEAN PRYSIAZNIUK November 17, 1941 - November 28, 2007 Suddenly on November 28, 2007, Mary Prysiazniuk passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Avila (William) and Patricia Reimer; son Terry (Paula). She is also survived by grandchildren, Brant Maruschak, Andrea Wait (Andrew), Austin and Zachary Reimer, Kayla and Amanda Prysiazniuk. She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband Peter on May 28, 2006. She was also predeceased by her parents Alexander and Lena (Zakaluk) Zosiak; brother Jaroslaw; son-in-law Harvey Maraschuk and grandson Aaron Reimer. Mary was born November 17, 1941 in Stead, Manitoba. On September 26, 1959, she married Peter Prysiazniuk, and raised three children in Winnipeg. Mary was employed with Motor Coach Industries, Wescott Industries, and H S Transportation from which she retired from. Her main interests were camping, gardening, dancing and doing crafts. In 1995 they moved to Matlock, Manitoba, where she made many new friends. Mary moved to the Maples Personal Care Home in 2006. Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 7:00 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Winnipeg Beach, MB. Rev. Fr. H. Chuckry officiating. Interment to follow. Pallbearers will be Larry Philipchuk, Andrew Feniuk, John Holowko, Robert, Darren and Cory Prysiazniuk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ross Buchanan and Greg Bugera. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for their care of Mary, and to the Seven Oaks Hospital Emergency staff for their support.
