BURNACE BRITTS 1920 - 2007 Peacefully on December 29, 2007, Burnace passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87 years. Auntie Burnace will be lovingly remembered by her niece Carol, whom always felt that Auntie Burnace was like a mother to her, Dougie (Maria) and their children Ryan and Justine who were very close to their Auntie Burnace, goddaughter Irene (Dan) and their son Tyrell. Also survived by Doug (Shannon) Bain. Auntie Burnace made many friends through her involvement with the Queen Winnipeg No. 1 Order of Eastern Star for the past 60 years, Queen Esther Rebekah No. 2 of Order of Odd Fellows, Khartum Ladies Auxiliary of the Shrine and Boyne No. 133 of the Orange Lodge. Auntie Burnace may have been busy with her groups but she always had time to spend with her family whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed and always remembered by all those who knew her. Rest In Peace Auntie Burnace. Carol would like to send a special thank you to Carman who was a great comfort to her and for all her time and care she gave to Auntie Burnace. The family would also like to send a thank you to the staff on the 6th floor who in their own way was so very good to Auntie Burnace. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home.
