Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHILIPP BROICH It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and friend, Philipp Broich. Peacefully on January 1, 2008, Philipp began his eternal life with God. Philipp was born July 12, 1925, at Cologne, Germany. In 1945 he moved to Gattenhofen, Germany, where he met his loving wife of 60 years, Heidi. After a short time they returned to Cologne where daughters Ursula and Gisela were born. In 1958 the family moved to Winnipeg, where they resided until 1997 when they retired to Pinawa, Manitoba. Philipp's profession as a carpenter and cabinet maker was shared among his loved ones even in retirement. Philipp loved life and shared this love with his family and friends. Philipp enriched our lives through his many hobbies of building birdhouses and model ships, gardening, music and dancing, fishing and spending time with loved ones at their cottage on the Lee River or while travelling abroad. Philipp is survived by his loving wife Heidi and daughters Ursula (Richard) and Gisela (Dale). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Join us to celebrate Philipp's love of life at: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street (204)338-7111
