ALEXANDER BEITZ

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER BEITZ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Beitz in the early hours of January 8, 2008. He was predeceased by his Mom and Dad, brothers Fred, Jack and Dave; sister Joan. He is survived by his wife Elsie; daughters Darlene Beitz, Medicine Hat, AB, Terry Beitz, Vancouver, BC; brother Alexander Beitz; grandson Dean Wakshinsky (Christina); great- grandchildren Brodi and Paige all of Medicine Hat. He also leaves behind his sisters Molly Schultiess and Mary (Bill) Yunyk; brother Adam (Helen) Beitz; sister-in-law Elsie Beitz as well as many nephews and nieces. Alex was born on June 14, 1926. He enjoyed life and people. He was active in 10-pin bowling and baseball and was an avid sports fan. His all time favourite was fishing in the boat during the summer and snowmobiling during his ice fishing trips in the winter. Thank you to all of Alex's family, neighbours and friends who have given us support during our stay in Winnipeg. We would also like to thank all of the Riverview Health Centre staff for the excellent care and comfort that Alex received. In accordance with Alex's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Those who wish to make a donation in Alex's memory may do so to the Riverview Health Centre, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
