ELSIE DOREEN BEITZ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Doreen Beitz on January 12, 2008. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Alexander Beitz on January 8, 2008; her Mom and Dad, brother William; sisters, Frances, Margaret, Pearl and Florence. Mom is survived by daughters, Darlene Beitz, Medicine Hat, AB, Terry Beitz, Vancouver, BC; son Alexander Beitz; grandson Dean Wakshinsky (Christina); great-grandchildren Brodi and Paige all of Medicine Hat. She also leaves behind her sisters, Annette and Janet; sisters-in-law Molly Schultiess, Mary (Bill) Yunyk, Elsie Beitz (wife of the late Jack) as well as many nephews and nieces. Mom was born on February 18, 1928. Mom was active in 10-pin bowling and loved fishing. Thank you to family, neighbours and friends who have given us support during our stay in Winnipeg. We would also like to thank all of the Riverview Health Centre staff for the excellent care and comfort that Mom received. In accordance with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Those who wish to make a donation in Mom's memory may do so to the Riverview Health Centre, CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice. We all love you and you will be missed.
