JODI PURCHASE After an incredibly brave fight with cancer Jodi Alyssa Purchase of Giroux, Manitoba, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2008, at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. She was born September 17, 1989, at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. Jodi was truly the toughest person that we have ever known and fought without complaining, even up to the end was more concerned about the people around her. She had a fondness for 60s and 70s music and loved to play guitar and piano and jamming in the garage with her brother Dylan and friends. She also loved spending time with her Aunties, Uncles and especially her cousins. We are all going to miss her unique personality, off the wall sense of humour and sass. She is survived by Dad (Doyle Purchase), Mom (Sandy Purchase), brother (Dylan) and sister (Haley), Great-Grama (Aganetha Teichroeb), Grandpa and Grama (Abe and Tina Teichroeb) and Grama (Audrey Purchase). She was predeceased by her Grandpa (Fred Purchase) and her Grama (Patricia Teichroeb). The viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach, MB, on Thursday, January 17 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a devotional starting at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main St., Steinbach, on January 18 at 1:30 p.m. with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
