Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAC (METRO) PUHACH Mac (Metro) Puhach at the age of 82 years, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2008 at the Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Dianne Bulback, son-in-law Peter, grandson Curtis, great-grandchildren Hayden and James, granddaughter Angela and husband Darryll Whitney of Winnipeg, sister Mary Sooaru, David, Carol and Jamie of Toronto, sister Evelyn and Emil Denesiuk of Winnipeg, Daniel and Bev, Adam, Dinine and Dana Denesiuk of Alberta, Cindy and Rick, Jordyn, Carlee and Rylee Cameron of Fargo, and extended family and friends. His wife Viola, parents Mike and Zena, sisters Katie Puhach and Anne Meyers, brother-in-law Art Meyers and brother-in-law Walter Sooaru preceded him. Mac was born in Glenella, Manitoba and in 1956 moved to Portage la Prairie where he worked for many years as a carpenter for Bowes Trailers. Later he worked for the City until he retired in 1978. He enjoyed fishing, playing crib, watching wrestling, hockey and baseball. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Meadowood Manor for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road in Portage la Prairie on Saturday, January 26 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
