Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGENE SYDNEY WALTERSON It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Gene Sydney Walterson on the afternoon of January 17, 2008 with his wife Stacey and his children Kristen, Victoria, Gene, Cassandra and Tawsha by his side. Youngest daughter Ashley was with him in prayer. Gene is also survived by his three grandchildren Nicholas, Cadan and Maddison, his mother Lillian, and his sister Geraldine Shindak. He will be greatly missed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Gene was predeceased by his father Harley. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful and caring staff of Health Sciences Centre, with special thanks to staff in the High Observation Unit H4, Emergency, and Neurosurgery. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. in Winnipeg. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Gene Walterson. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

I called him Big Gene, but it was like saying "Dad". In my life begin meant Dad and still feels like it to this day.
