SHIRLEY NEVES (nee PETERS) June 21, 1935 - January 20, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Granny Shirley Neves on Sunday, January 20, 2008, at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 72. Shirley was predeceased by her father Jacob Peters, loving mother Eileen Gertrude Peters, and sister Sharon Peters. Left to cherish her memory are her Brother: Wayne Peters, Daughter: Pamela Neves, Sons: Rick Neves (Glen), Randy Neves, Robby Neves (Rebecca), Special Granddaughter Brandi Neves (Bill), River and Jayce Bray, and Great- grandchildren Dylan and Brooklyn Neves-Georgakopoulos. She will also be lovingly remembered by her children's father Wally Neves. The family is very thankful to all the excellent doctors and nurses on the 4th floor of the CCU and Intensive Care at the Health Sciences Centre, as well as her special friend and nurse Jean Chennell for all her help over the years. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Monday, January 28 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave.
