Art was born on June 30, 1931, in Winnipeg and except for a couple of years in the Lakehead resided here all his life. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Dad requested that donations be made to the Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Box 21008, 33 - 3900 Grant Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3R 3R2.
