NORMAN KEITH SCARROW (1914 - 2008)
Date of Passing: Feb 06, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN KEITH SCARROW (1914 - 2008) Surrounded by family at Grace Hospital our beloved husband, father, grandfather peacefully joined His Heavenly Father on February 6, 2008. Lovingly remembered by his wife, Ethel of 60 years, his children, Cheryl (Tom), Lori (John), grandchildren, Krista and Aynsley. Norman served overseas as civil engineer in the Second World War. He married Ethel in 1947, was employed as PFRA pasture manager in Welby, SK, until 1960, and hardware store owner in Rossburn, retiring in 1984. Dad was a hard working man, taking great pride in carpentry work, building their cottage at Clear Lake. Dad loved his grandchildren and cherished all his Loved Ones and had a deep and abiding faith. God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be, So He closed His arms around you And whispered, Come to me. You didn't deserve what you went through And so He gave you rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful and free from pain We could not wish you back to suffer that again. Together forever and forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, we love you. Service to be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Norm and Ethel (Mr and Mrs Scarrow) allowed me to rent the basement apartment in their Rossburn home while I resided there briefly in 1978-79. They were quite kind to me, and seeing this wonderful photo of Norm brings a sense of peace at a tough time in my life. Attn : Ethel, Lori and Cheryl - I think of Rossburn every now an then and will never forget the occasional moments we shared. I hope you are well.
