Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDELMAR THOMAS 1959 - 2008 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Delmar Thomas on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 48. Delmar will be deeply missed by his mother Maxine, children, Kristen, Ryan (Sarah), Rochele (Kevin), and grandchildren, Chloe, Riley, Keanan and Austin. Also remembered by his eight brothers and sisters, Sheldon, Mitchell, Alfred (Kim), Lisa (Mike), Barb (Doug), Yvonne (Bernie), Kelly and Carla and many nieces and nephews. Delmar was predeceased by his father Harvey in 1974 and his nephew Jordan Fisher in 1991. He always supported his family with a genuine sense of humour and was always there to lend a helping hand or compassionate shoulder. He left us with many memories that will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2008. We would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their care and support and special thanks to his sister Kelly for her very special personal care. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4, or The Siloam Mission, 300 Princess, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3. so sorry to the family, I knew Delmar in high school as we dated then ,,, he was a funny guy that's for sure and I loved his laugh later we meet in our late teens we both grew up a lot and even then we picked up where we left off,,, we said our good byes then or as you put it see you later it was one night of good friends and cold beers I close my eyes and see you, hear your laugh and all the stuff you pulled on me ,,, rest in heaven your fight is over watch over your kids and family xoxox missed by many - Posted by: irene nawankiewicz (friend) on: Oct 29, 2014
