WALTER GEORGE RAE December 5, 1920 March 25, 2008 Walter Rae of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Our much loved Dad went to be with Mom, his wife Hilda of fifty-three years, who predeceased him in June, 2003. Walter is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Glen of Victoria, BC, Rick and Ginette of Nanaimo, BC and Brad and Lori of Calgary; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jeff Bergl of Calgary; four grandchildren, Tara, Chris (Carol), Jenna and Krysten and one great-granddaughter, Caidence. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Donald and Josephine, Gerald and June and Ramona Rae and one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ronald Tagg. Walter was predeceased by one sister and two brothers. A Celebration of Walter's Life will be held at McINNIS HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2 Telephone: (403) 521-3433.
