Sherman earned his living in retail management. His early interest included curling, bowling and later was a dedicated and avid golfer and bridge player. He was also a good cook with many of his own specialties. Sherman and Lillian retired to Kelowna ten years ago where he enjoyed playing golf, bridge and travel. He was the president of the Senior Men's golf at Mission Creek for two years where he won a trophy for a hole in one. A graveside service was held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery in Winnipeg, MB. on Sunday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. with a meal of consolations following at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue.
