FREDERICK PORCHER Peacefully, at home, on April 20, 2008, after a long and full life, Fred Porcher, aged 95 years, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour. He is survived by his nine children, Donald, Gertie, Carol and husband Eugene, Grace and husband Marv, Florence and husband Brian, Randy and wife Joan, Kathy and husband Don, Alan, Richard and wife Cyndi, 15 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Madeline, his parents, one brother and two sisters. Just think of stepping on shore, and finding it heaven; of touching a hand, and finding it God's, of breathing new air, and finding it celestial, of waking up and entering into glory, and knowing I'm in my eternal Home Funeral Service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008, with a private family interment to follow in Glen Eden Cemetery.
