JAMES MORRISON PUTNAM 1924 - 2008 Sadly we announce the passing of our beloved father on April 23, 2008 from pneumonia. He will be missed by his wife Bunny, his son John (Lena) of Seattle, daughters, Carol (Frith) of Halifax, and Susan (Dave) of Calgary, as well as five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Donald, and siblings, Audrey and Steve. He will also be missed by sisters, Carolyn and Mary, extended family and friends. Jim was a professional engineer who spent most of his career with Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. He grew up in Winnipeg, and attended the University of Saskatchewan. His career took him to Noranda, QC, Deep River, ON, Pinawa, MB, Argentina, and Milton, ON. He retired in Duncan, BC. He was an avid skier, canoeist, and golfer, and was actively involved in the United Church of Canada, and supported many charities. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann's Garden Club at Providence Farm, 1843 Tzouhalem Road, Duncan, BC, V9L 5L6, where he was a faithful volunteer.
