PETER H. PUBBEN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pete Pubben at his home in Gladstone on May 6, 2008 at the age of 82. Pete was born in Horst, Holland on October 11, 1925 to Jan and Hendrika Pubben. He immigrated to Canada with his family in May 1928 to the Plumas, MB area, where he resided for most of his life before moving to Gladstone in 2002. Pete was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Jack and John; and his sister Nellie. He is survived by his beloved friend Mary Belton and family; his sister Regina (Bernard); brother Sam (Pearl); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pete will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gladstone United Church with Rev. Ian Olive officiating. Interment will follow at the Plumas Cemetery.
