GERALD WAYNE ODDLEIFSON Peacefully with family by his side, Gerald passed away on May 8, 2008. Gerald was born in Arborg on April 7, 1951. Left to cherish his memory are daughters Tamara and Noilah; parents Bob and Gladys; sisters, Sharon (Harley) Jonasson, Roberta (Ken) Pruden, Pat (Alphonse) Noschese; nieces Shelley (Neal) and Jennifer; nephews, Brad, Ryan, and Kevin; great-niece Emma and great- nephews Christopher and William. Gerald was predeceased by his niece Tamara. Gerald's job kept him in Winnipeg, but he never lost his passion for Lake Winnipeg and Loon Straits, where he commercial fished for many years. His spotlessly clean boat, workplace and home showed the great pride he took in everything he did. A hard worker with a quick sense of humour, Gerald was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends. Always foremost in his heart though, were his daughters Tamara and Noilah. A celebration of Gerald's life will take place at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk, MB, Saturday (today) May 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Trudy Thorarinson officiating. Honourary pallbearers are his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gerald's memory to Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen Inc., Box 123, Selkirk, MB R1A 2B1.
