GILBERT JAMES THWAITES October 20, 1942 May 13, 2008 Peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 our beloved James passed away at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. James will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife Lois M.; his mother Mary McDonald (Bob); sister Leona Thwaites; brother-in-law Robert (Iris); children, Douglas (Nola), Randy Zamonsky, Terrence (Christine) and Lorne Johnsen (Isabel); grand-children, Douglas Jr., Brent and Danny, Christopher, Pamela, George and Rebeckah as well as numerous great-grandchildren. James was a fun-loving caring man. His favourite time was in the kitchen - cooking for his family at gatherings and special occasions at his home. He enjoyed gardening and carpentry was his passion. James was employed with CP for 13 years. He also worked for Interlink and most recently Al-Fab until his retirement at age 60. A memorial service in honour of James' life will be held Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Harvest Family Church, 1030 McPhillips St. (Lincoln Hotel), lower level. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Arrangements entrusted to:
