JAN BRON Jan Bron, native son of Delft, Holland, died peacefully at 69 after a long struggle with cancer. Jan came to Canada in 1962 and quickly came to love his adopted country. He obtained a Ph.D. at UWO and went on to a long and varied career as an academic and entrepreneur. Anyone wishing to know more about his life and achievements is invited to visit his website at www.mts.net/~janbron. He leaves behind his loving wife, Janet, his sister, Toos, his brothers Wim and Herman, his three children, Alan, Ian and Susie, and six grandchildren. His wry sense of humour and keen mind will be missed. Donations may be made to Fort Whyte Alive, the Unitarian Service Committee or Unitarian Church of Winnipeg, or to St. Peter's Abbey in Muenster, Saskatchewan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 22 in the Unitarian Church of Winnipeg. Nullum magnum ingenium sine mixtura dementiae fuit.
