BALBIR SINGH DHALIWAL It is with greatest sadness that our family announces the passing of our Dad, Grandpa and Great-grandpa on June 18, 2008. Balbir Singh is survived by his loving wife Harbans Kaur. Balbir Singh was born on July 5, 1917, in British India where he was raised. In 1947 he moved to the village Smadh Bhai District Moga, Punjab, India. He was later married and became the proud father of seven children. In 1980, Balbir Singh and his family immigrated to Canada where they found a new home in Winnipeg. He was always a strong believer in prayer and devoted his life to Sikhism, instilling these same values in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Balbir Singh led a happy and full life and left behind several loving memories that will always be cherished and remembered by his family. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Thomson in the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery on 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Sincere thanks go out to all those who have given us sympathy and support through this time of need.
