MARJORIE POPPELE 1920 - 2008 Peacefully, on Monday, June 30, 2008, Marjorie passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Marge was predeceased by her husband Hardy in 1975 and by her beloved dog Sasha. She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Harding, granddaughters Jennifer (Mark) and Melanie (Sean) and sister, Ruth Pfeifer. Marge was born and lived her entire life in Winnipeg. She worked in the fabric department at Eatons, retiring when Linda was born. Marge loved gardening, was a wonderful cook and baker, and was active in Faith Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre, CD3, for their years of care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 4, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota Street, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3 or to Faith Lutheran Church, 131 Dakota Street, Winnipeg, MB R2M 1V8.
