ISABELLE PEARL COOTE (WELLS) Isabelle Coote passed away quietly on July 1, 2008 at the Grace Hospital. Belle was born in Roland, Manitoba on April 28, 1918 and moved to Winnipeg, where she grew up in Elmwood. She married Daniel Coote in May 1943. She loved to do needlepoint, having completed 70 pictures, most of which adorn walls of family members and friends. She was a member of Sturgeon Creek United Church for over 40 years and a volunteer at the Red Cross Society for 19 years. On Dan's retirement, they both volunteered with Meals-On-Wheels for over 10 years. They enjoyed winter vacations in Hawaii, Mexico and Arizona. Belle leaves to mourn her only surviving son Bob (Linda) of Winnipeg, daughter-in-law Lori (London, Ontario) and her two beloved grandsons, Rob of Edmonton and Jeff of Winnipeg. She also leaves to mourn one sister Ada McCallum, brother-in-law Al Coote and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel in 2004, son Daniel Jr. in 2004, her parents Edith and Martin as well as five sisters and two brothers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sturgeon Creek United Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank the staff at Sturgeon Creek Residence #1 for all they have done to make the past three and a half years of her life a pleasant and safe experience. Their kindness and caring to both Isabelle and her family has been overwhelming. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, with reception to follow. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
