LENA PROBETTS Peacefully on July 14, 2008 at the Maples Personal Care Home, mom passed away at the age of 101 years. Mom was predeceased by her husband Herbert in 1998. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Violet MacDonald, Gordon (Verna), Stanley (Nadia), grandchildren: Sharon (Fred) Buhay, Wayne (Jeannie) MacDonald, Debbie Lucas, Daryle (Susan) Probetts, Shannon (Shawn) Granovsky and Darren (Tracy) Probetts. Mom also leaves 12 great-grandchildren, six great- great grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was a great homemaker, a loving mother, an amazing cook and she loved to crochet and knit. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Viewing will take place ½ hour prior to service.
