JERRY ARCHER POMMER On Sunday, August 10, 2008 at his residence in Gimli, MB, Jerry Pommer, aged 69 years. Jerry was born on February 8, 1939 at Seven Sisters, MB to Dave and Violet Pommer. He was predeceased by his mother and father, and brothers Vern and Bill. Leaving to cherish his memory is his daughter Charlotte; his wife Teresa and his former wife Myrna; brothers Alfred (Debbie), Larry (Moira); sisters Carol (Alex), Vivian (Jim) and many nieces and nephews. Jerry worked in the fiberglass industry for approximately 45 years. The last 25 years being with Multi Industries in partnership with his brother Bill and brother-in-law Jim Anderson. His hobby was fixing cars especially his 1964 Mercury convertible which he proudly enjoyed driving and showing for approximately 15 years. He was a Masonic member of Ancient Landmark #3 and past president of the Shrine Vintage Car Club. He also loved the outdoors being an avid hunter and fisherman. A Masonic Service will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Gilbart Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
