BOB HICKS It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Bob Hicks at the age of 69 years, Monday, September 8 at St. Boniface Palliative Care. He is survived by parents Bob and Peggy, wife Diana, son Robert (Gina), daughter Leanne, grandchildren Samantha, Kimberly, Chantel, Christopher, brother Russell (Eydie), sister Barbara (Charlie) Warga, numerous nieces and nephews and the special children in his life who called him pops or papa. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, Hespeler and Henderson on Saturday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at both the Health Sciences Centre GH4 and the Palliative Care Unit St. Boniface Hospital with a special thanks to Father Roland Lanoie for his support and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation.
