Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH TRESSA CLEARWATER It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother and nana on September 8, 2008. Bette is survived and will be missed by her children John (Maureen), Gary (Monica), daughter-in-law Dianne; her grandchildren Tyler and Alex, Cindy, Lauren and Allison, Debbie, Terry and Cathy and her great-grandchildren. Bette was predeceased by her husband Glen and son Jim; brothers Jim and Clarence; sisters Jean, Irene, Marie and Lenore. She is survived by her brother John. Bette was born on January 16, 1922 in Grandview, MB. Bette met Glen in Sheridan, Manitoba in 1941. She served in the Signal Corps of the Canadian Army as a CWAC during the Second World War. Bette spent her life looking after her family and caring for her grandchildren. Bette enjoyed curling, bridge and golfing. She had a talent for playing guitar and enjoyed her time with family and friends singing and dancing. Bette passed away at the River East Nursing Home with her son John and daughter-in-law Maureen by her side. Bette will be remembered for her caring soul, great sense of humour and her huge hugs. We would like to thank all the staff at River East Nursing Home for all their care, love and support for Bette. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. There will be no service and cremation has taken place. Neil Bardal Inc. in care of arrangements.
