LEONARD WALTER PUFFALT Peacefully, on September 11, 2008 with his wife and son, Justin, by his side, Lenny lost his battle with cancer. Born September 29, 1950 in Kippling, Saskatchewan, Lenny was the only child of Arthur and Mary Puffalt. As a young child, his family moved to Winnipeg where he grew up, worked and married. He enjoyed watching his son play football and went to all the practices and was his son's biggest fan. Lenny retired in 2007 after 25 years of service with the Government of Manitoba ending as a Trades Helper in the Remand Centre on Kennedy St. and York Ave. Lenny was predeceased by his parents, and leaves to mourn his wife, Sherry; sons, Justin and Chad; brother-in-law, Willie Purdon; his extended family members from both Winnipeg and Saskatchewan; and all his many, many friends that he made and held dear for so many years. We will all miss you. A special thank you to the wonderful staff on the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. Leonard's family would like you to come and celebrate his life at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. on Friday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family to speak. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you make donations to CancerCare Manitoba or the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit in memory of Lenny. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
