MARGARET ANNE PRUDEN October 12, 1939 - September 22, 2008 Change in Service Time With family at her side, Anne died peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 68 years. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Clara Einarson, and her husband Stewart. She will be very sadly missed by her daughters Sandra Pruden and Carol (Allan) Croy; grandsons Calvin (Kelly, Zac and Hunter) and Tyler; brothers George, Paul and Tom; sister Maria (Frank), as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and in-laws. Anne grew up in the Petersfield area, and stayed close to her roots her whole life. She married Stewart in 1958, and together they raised two daughters on Wavey Creek Road. She worked for 30 years in the payroll department of the Manitoba Rolling Mills, a job she was so good at that she could still tell you any of the guys' payroll ID numbers eight years after retirement! She was famous for her easy going nature, great sense of humor, and her homemade bread! In the past year, she moved to Selkirk and made many new friends in the Lions Centre. She did well on her own, but missed her husband terribly. Therefore we take comfort in knowing that they are together again. Forever. Family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Kreport and his team, and to all of the fantastic staff at HSC, SICU. Also thanks to all of our friends, family and co-workers for all of the prayers, support and caring during this very difficult time. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
