Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGETTE RATTE (nee BEAUDIN) With profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother on October 5, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Born in Saskatchewan, she lost her mother at the tender age of 2 and a half years and was raised in St. Eustache, MB by a wonderful stepmother. She later moved to St. Boniface where she met the love of her life and they were happily married for 63 years. Our mother's faith was of utmost importance to her and was evident in everything she did. Her raison d'être was faith and the love of her family. Our mother was a loving, affectionate, kind and gentle woman. Her heart was filled with joy and tenderness which she so lovingly shared with anyone who crossed her path, especially the sick, aged and lonely. No one who ever turned to her was ever left unaided. You were an inspiration to us maman and touched our lives immensely. You will be sadly missed by all of us. Maman, you were a true angel in disguise. Our mother was predeceased by her loving husband Adélard: her beloved parents; sisters, Cécile, Yvonne and Claire; brothers, Paul, Ronald, Joe Melnic and John Halpin, and a sibling in infancy. She was also predeceased by sons-in-law, Albert and Allen. Her memory will forever remain with her daughters, Ida (Lawrence) Chabluk, Laura Dacquay, Dolores (Peter) Chabluk; sons, Maurice (Dorothy), Fred (Bonny) and Patrick (Kathy); nine grandchildren, 18 great-grand-children, three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Roland; sister-in-law Michelle; brothers-in-law, Clifford and Marcel and numerous nieces and nephews. Thanks to Dr. J. Danais-Brown, Ray Aubin and Desna from Home Care. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Emile Parish, 556 St. Anne's Rd. celebrated by Father Lucien Roy, and concelebrant Father René Peeters. A private family interment will take place at a later date. May you rest in the peace of Jesus, dear maman. Dans la paix, près de toi Seigneur.
