Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACE BOYD BEISCHER (nee TAYLOR) 1914-2008 Peacefully, a year after being diagnosed with cancer, mum passed away October 7, 2008 at Tache Centre. Born in Winnipeg to Bill and Mary Taylor, mum grew up in St. James, attending Brittania School. Mum worked at Acme Paper Box, where the Birks blue box was a prized object. Mum and dad married in 1937 and began their journey through life. They traveled to many wonderful places. Dad was a reluctant traveler but in spite of himself, enjoyed their trips. In 1948 mum and dad and the three of us moved to Fort William, Ontario. There mum worked as a librarian at the Mary J. Black Library. In 1961 the family moved back to Winnipeg and opened Norgrove Motor Parts where mum ran the office. Mum was predeceased by her parents, beloved husband Paul (1992), her son Craig (2007), her sister Molly and her husband Jim Jamieson and her brother John Taylor. Mum leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Paula (Ernie), Claudia; daughter-in-law Cynthia; grandchildren Duane (Diane), Dean, Michele (Bob), Susanne (David), Shelaine (Wali); great-grandchildren Tye, Danika and Sofie. She is also survived by her brother Bill Taylor. We wish to thank the kind people at Tache Centre, in particular Monique, Valerie, Michelle, Fabien, and Phillip for their genuine care and concern for our mother over this last year. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 in Thomson Funeral Home with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date by family.
