NORMAN THOMAS OSLAND Norman Thomas Osland passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on October 22, 2008 following a brief illness. Norm is survived by his two daughters and their husbands. Jayne (Larry Frostiak) and Kathy (Brian Van de Mosselaer), several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, and many wonderful life-long friends. Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret on January 11, 2007. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Mel, Les, John, Wally and his sisters, Elsie and Olive. Dad was born at Shoal Lake and lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He served in the navy during the Second World War in the South Pacific. Dad will also be missed by his many friends at the Waverley. Dad had a wonderful sense of humour and all of us will miss him dearly. We express our thanks and gratitude to the dedicated staff of the Victoria General Hospital and especially the staff of Unit 5 North. A celebration of Dad’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 29 at 10:00 am at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victoria Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2E8 or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Norm and Marg together again forever. Thomson “In the ParK” 925-1120 Send expressions of sympathy at www.mem.com
