ANGELICA SANTORO May 30, 1915 - November 1, 2008 It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Angelica Santoro on November 1, 2008 at Misericordia Place Personal Care Home. Angelica was born in Italy and moved to Canada in 1966. Angelica is survived by her son Alberto Santoro (Rosa), daughters Pina (Barbaro Laterza) and Antonina Barracano; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, eight siblings in Italy, nephew Giovanni Vassallo (Teresa) of Winnipeg. She will also be missed by numerous other nieces, nephews and many other family members In Toronto and New York. Angelica was predeceased by her loving husband Angelo Santoro in 1989. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Misericordia Place. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday November 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave, with prayers and viewing to take place one half hour prior. An interment will follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angelica's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
