MARJORIE THREADKELL 1915 - 2008 Marjorie Threadkell passed away quietly at her residence at the Wellington on Sunday, November 2, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband Rowland in 1998 and is survived by her daughter Janet (Doug Craig), son Brian (Ida Marie), granddaughter Heather Craig, grandson Graham Craig (Deanna), great-grandchildren Kyla and Cody. Her memory will be forever cherished by her two close friends Joan Reid and May Robichaud. Marjorie, a Gold Medal graduate of the Moose Jaw General Hospital School of Nursing, was a woman of infinite courage who never allowed her blindness to overcome her love of people, her kindness toward others or diminish her beautiful heartfelt smile. The staff of the Wellington are to be commended for the concern and helpfulness they have shown toward Marjorie during her residency with them, as are the wonderful care givers provided by We Care who have shown such compassion and sincere caring during this last while. Memorial service will be held at the Wellington, 3161 Grant Ave. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clark Saunders of Westworth United Church officiating. Colourful flowers would be a wonderful tribute to this special lady or a memorial donation to your favourite charity would also be appreciated.
