ISLE A. COHEN (MRS. MAXWELL COHEN, nee STERNBERG) In Ottawa, early on November 13, 2008, aged 90, in grace and beauty. Great love and life partner of Professor Maxwell Cohen (O.C., Q.C., B.A., LL.B., LL.M., LL.D., D.C.L.,) who predeceased her, most beloved mother and best friend of JoAnne, delighted grandmother of Alexa and Ben, favourite mother-in-law of Andrei Sulzenko, loyal friend, fine writer and passionate Canadian. As she dictated: Born in Innsbruck. Lived in France, England, Vancouver, New York City, Montreal and Ottawa. Was a very private person and led an adventurous life.
