LEONARD (LEN) PORATH It is with sincere sadness that we announce the loss of a courageous and incredible human being, Leonard Albert Porath, who passed away on November 24, 2008, at the young age of 57. Leonard was predeceased by his father Carl Porath, husband of Clemetine Porath. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Jacqueline Helen Porath, of 17 years; two sisters, Cathy and Carol; brother Miles; daughter Sharon; granddaughter Sydney; as well as, Jacquelines' parents, Lockey Poitras and Lynn Poitras. Len was born in Piney, MB, in 1951 and later relocated to Winnipeg with his family. His work ambitions were driving truck from coast to coast, for 30 years of his life. The later part of his life he spent with his wife working together in building their pest control company which became a passion to him. Len loved his time at the lake boating, fishing and spending quality time with those closest to him. He built fond memories with good friends Diana Gale; the Nenkas'; the Rosevears' and all their children. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and co-workers. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Westminister United Church, located NW Maryland and Westminister. Viewing will take place one hour prior to service. A reception will follow the service at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. All are welcome to attend.
