ROSE RASSEWICH December 12, 1912 December 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Rassewich on Friday, December 19 at Concordia Place. Rose leaves to mourn her passing, her sister Olga Falzarano, sister-in-law Irene Falzarano, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew, her parents, two sisters, Julia and Theresa, five brothers, James, Walter, Bill, John and Larry, sister-in-law Cathy, brother-in-law Bill, three nephews Kenneth, Gordon and Donald. Rose was a warm generous person who always welcomed family, friends and neighbours into her home. She loved to knit, crochet, garden and travel when she could. Rose was born in the North End of Winnipeg. Living through the depression, she always said how life was a difficult challenge for her family and money was scarce. However, she would end stories of those times by saying, Thanks to God that the chickens were good egg producers providing us a small income. The family thanks the staff of Concordia Place, third floor D, the doctors who attended her, and Pastor John Friesen for the loving care and compassion they showed Rose. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 23 at Korban Funeral Chapel 907 Main St. Interment to follow at St. Vital Cemetery.
