LUCILLE PUHACH (nee BOUCHARD) The Angels came to the Riverview Heath Centre in the middle of the night on Christmas day and carried our mom to her new resting place. She was born February 26, 1924 (84) in Winnipeg. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Emil, son Donald (Lee), daughters; Sherry (Carl) and Debbie (Jim), her lovely grandchildren whom she adored; Christopher (Carolynn), Charmaine (Shawn), Brett, Bryce, and Brody, her two grandchildren; Ashley and Joshua and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two brothers; Gabby and Cam (Grace), one sister; Lorraine and sister-in-law; Bertha. She was predeceased by her parents Augustine and Yvonne Bouchard and brothers; Rolland, Leo, Rene, and infant sister. Mom worked very hard at house cleaning in her early years and later on in the sewing industry for over twenty years. Mom was a great cook and loved being with her family and friends. In her later years at Riverview she would pass her time reading Danielle Steel books, bowling, playing bingo, and going to the leisure centre. Funeral service will take place at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West Saint Paul MB, on Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Chris and Brett and her nephews Blaine, Grant, Greg and Brad. We would like to thank all the staff on 2W Riverview Health Centre for the exceptional care they provided mom since June 2003. She made many friends with the staff and also with other patients, their families and volunteers that visited her. She always had a smile for everyone. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Street, Winnipeg MB, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada, Box 88 Station Main, Winnipeg MB, R3G 2G1.
