Tomorrow will be 11 years since you left us. Both you & dad have left a big hole in my life & your grandchildren's too. The other day I was switching channels to find great music to listen to & all of a sudden โgood old Elvis was on singing โ Blue Christmas โ. Dad you always used to play that song when we were together at Christmas time and it always brings a huge smile & comfort to me as I know & can feel both of you here with me. I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories we shared. It is those memories that get me thru the hard times. You two were THE BEST PARENTS any girl could possibly dream of having. ๐น๐๐ป - Posted by: Patti Duehmig (Daughter ) on: Jan 03, 2021

I miss you both very much and think of you almost daily. I miss hearing your voices over the phone. I miss the shopping trips along Portage Avenue we used to have. We had quite a few of them! We would go from the Bay and into EVERY woman's shop along the way until we got to Eaton's and then had fish and chips upstairs. We had so many bags that we had to take a taxi home every time. When we got home, we tried to hide our purchases so dad wouldn't see them. We had a lot of great times & miss you being in the kitchen making something & it always smelled sooo good in our home. Great times & great memories. xx oo - Posted by: Patti Duehmig (daughter) on: Nov 10, 2013
