MARIE BEDARD (nee LEGROS) Paisiblement à la Villa Youville de Sainte-Anne-des-Chênes, le 28 janvier 2009 à l'âge de 97 ans est décédée Marie Bédard (née Legros). Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Colombe (Aimé) Rivard, Armand, et Clément (Jackie) Bédard, son gendre Jules Bertrand, ainsi que 13 petits-enfants, 15 arrières-petits-enfants et 3 arrières-arrières-petits-enfants. Elle laisse aussi sa belle-soeur Kay Legros, belle-soeur Angeline Grimard, beaux-frères et belles-soeurs Noë et Hélène Bédard , Louise et Peter Dyck et Marie Hughes et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Marie fut précédée par son époux Arcade en 1992 et sa fille Anita en 2004, ses parents Joseph Legros et Henriette Martin, ses 8 frères et 3 soeurs. La famille de Marie Bédard désire remercier le personnel de la Villa Youville à Sainte-Anne-des-Chênes pour les bons soins donnés à maman durant son séjour à la Villa. Merci aux docteurs Lemoine et Gobeil, ainsi qu'aux soeurs Irène Rioux et Marguerite Forest pour leur compassion et bons soins. Un service commémoratif aura lieu au Salon mortuaire Desjardins, 357, rue Des Meurons, le samedi 31 janvier à 13h00 présidé par M. l'abbé Marcel Carrière. L'inhumation privé des cendres aura lieu à une date ultérieure au Cimetière de Saint-Boniface, rue Archibald. MARIE BEDARD (nee LEGROS) Peacefully on January 28, 2009, at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne-des-Chênes, Marie Bédard (née Legros) passed away at the age of 97. She leaves to mourn her passing daughter Colombe (Aimé) Rivard, sons Armand, Clément (Jackie) Bédard; also son-in-law Jules Bertrand. Missing grandmother will be 13 grandchildren: Carmen (Richard), Oscar (Karen), Norman Rivard; Nicole, Norbert (Wanda), Lizanne (Glen) Bertrand; Gisèle (Philippe), Michel (Tracy), Julien (Annabel), Marie, Chantale, Hanna, Danielle and Joël Bédard; also 15 great-grandchildren: Nicole (Mickaël), Janelle, Renée Moquin; Jennifer and Michael Reid; Michel, Stéphane, Joël Rivard; Sasha, Nadia, Samuel Bédard; Daniel and Coral Bertrand; Arland and Cosette Bédard, Meredith and three great-great-grandchildren: Jayden, Keyan and Annabelle. She also leaves sister-in-law Kay Legros and her in-laws Angéline Grimard, Noë and Hélène Bédard, Louise and Peter Dyck and Marie Hughes, numerous nieces and nephews from the Legros and Bédard families. Marie was predeceased by her husband Arcade in 1992 and daughter Anita in 2004, her parents Joseph Legros and Henriette Martin and by her eight brothers and three sisters. The family of Marie Bédard expresses sincere thanks to the Villa Youville staff for having seen to the well being of our mother during her stay there. Many thanks to Drs. Lemoine and Gobeil for your excellent care. Also a special thank you to sisters Irène Rioux and Marguerite Forest for your care and compassion. In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street on Saturday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. presided by Father Marcel Carrière. A private burial of the cremated remains will follow at a later date at the St. Boniface Cemetery on Archibald Street.
