NORMAN IRWINE POERSCH Peacefully, after a courageous short battle with cancer, Norman Irwine Poersch, of Morris, passed away on February 15, 2009 at the Morris General Hospital, at the age of 75 years. Surviving him are four brothers, Gordon of Winnipeg, Richard, Lloyd and Robert, all of Morris; one sister Edith Neumann of Winnipeg; also brother-in-law Fred Johnson of Winnipeg; caring and loving friend, Cecile Vermette of Morris; as well as 11 nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends. Norman was predeceased by his parents; his brother Herbert; sisters, Irene Johnson and Margaret Ukrainec; sisters-in-law, Mae Poersch and Beth Poersch; and brothers-in-law, Bill Ukrainec and Arthur Neumann. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brunkild on Saturday, February 21 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Leslie Poulin officiating. Interment in the Lea Bank Cemetery. There will be viewing at Morris Funeral Home on Friday, February 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the church prior to the service.
