Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySELEMAWIT MEHARI DESTA It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Selemawit Mehari Desta. She was born in Ethiopia on October 13, 1988 and came to Winnipeg on October 10, 2006. She was a girl with big hopes and great dreams and worked hard to realize them. We lost her suddenly on February 18, 2009. Selemawit will be lovingly remembered by Kebede, Eyesus, Rahel, Tesfaye, Ruth, Abel, Sarah, Teme, Emanuel and all members of her community. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Ethiopian Orthodox St. Mary's Church on 353 Mountain Ave. Her interment will be held immediately after the funeral at the St. Vital Cemetery located at 236 River Rd.
