PETER H. POIRIER (Inwood, MB) April 8, 1925 - February 23, 2009 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. He was preceded by his parents, Antheme and Georgianna; son James (Rita); and sister Angele. Pete worked hard all his life, from the mines in Cochenour, ON to 25 years of auto body repair in Winnipeg to hauling wood around Inwood, MB. Pete's family was his whole world, he cherished each and every one of them. He leaves behind his children, Joe (Cindy), Tim, Roxanne (Michael), Sheila (Kevin), Rene, Darlene; grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Sarah), Lisa (Jeff), James Jr., Jason, Jessica, Joanne, Kyle, Tiffany, Joel, Jordan, Kirsten; great-grandchildren, Dominick, Brandon and Corey, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and of course his puppy Evie. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 27 at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
